"HOLIDAY OUT"
A new Holiday musical for the whole family
written by Pip Kennedy
We are bringing this show to the Southwest Washington Community for everyone. We encourage a suggested donation of $20.00 a ticket, if you can do more that would be amazing. If you need to donate less this Holiday season, you can. Please bring your friends and family to enjoy our production.
'Tis the Holi-gay season in a small town, in a small county, in the small state of Vermont. The hustle and bustle of the season can sometimes be stressful; and the adults of the town are feeling it. So, when the children of this small town, in that small county, in the small state of Vermont, start making wishes on the Northern Star… they call forth a larger-than-life fairy named Mary Christmas. Her magic is unleashed onto the town and wrongs are righted, financial troubles are wiped away, and bigots are put in their place. This show has everything: people singing and dancing, for no real reason, other than furthering the joy of the season; a cute gay couple, queers galore, unredeemable villains, elves, quiche waffles, and a 6’5” fairy with a huge talent… wink wink… for quirky mischief. This Christmas is going to 'sleigh'.

A FUN THEATER FACT
Beware of a visit from the ghost of Thespis.
When something goes wrong in the theatre, those in the know will point to the ghost of Thespis as the culprit. Ancient Greek sources identify Thespis as the first actor to step out of the chorus and play an actual character. He is the father of all thespians. When theatres are not lucky enough to have their own ghosts, they rely upon Thespis to be the scapegoat for all the problems that might plague a production. (broadwaydirect.com)
